Like all hobbies, mine (collecting bootlegs, most of all blues and related
music and the 60's), also had a start.
Look below how it all started (however, listening to the piratestations like
Radio Veronica and Radio Caroline, while making my homework,
also had a big influence!).

It all started in 1966
in Wolvega as a
Frisian alternative for Cuby & The Blizzards.
First members were:

Management (at that time) bij Dorus van

About 1969 two singles have been released on the
famous Havoc label.
Although Poisoned Soul was
a bit bluesy, the next one Holy Cloud
was a lot better with driving guitars and pre-Focus Thijs van Leer on flute!

In 1967 Art.461 almost did a tour with Van Morrison: Van_Art.461

In 1970 the name of the group changed into Canyon, after a while they split up.
In 1970 Canyonís single (Downtown/Dialogue)ís been released on the MCA label:
swinging, with a driving sound!
